MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the supply of rolling stock for the MTR rail network.
The scope of works includes design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, interface, testing, commissioning and rectification of defects during the Defects Liability Period for 5 trains of 8-car consists for MTR Lines. Subject to the final agreement with the Government on the proposed West Island Line, the scope of works may be extended to cover the supply of rolling stock for the West Island Line.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in August 2007, and tenders will be invited in January 2008.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having the relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 5 August 2007 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System. Late applications will not be considered.
